Greetings, soccer fans, welcome to "European Championship Revisited".

I planned to do this a long time ago, but just keep procrastinating it. I finally uploaded it just ten days before the kickoff of Euro2000. It's probably a bit late but I believe something is timeless. Here you will find most of the information on all ten previous tournaments. Even though the European Championship is not as big as the World Cup, but it's still a lot to cover for forty years of history.

As the nature of all web sites, it is by no means finished. There are still a lot of things that I feel I should included, but just don't have the resources to get it done. I will, as time allow, update the pages as much as I want to. By the way, all the records and figures are in no way official. I tried to be accurate as possible, but like I said, covering forty years of history is not a small task, and mistakes and over-looks do occur. If you do find any mistakes, please let me know. Any other comments and corrections are always welcomed.

As for the upcoming Euro2000, I expect a high standard tournament. I'll root for the Netherlands, as always, but to win this tournament is a tough task. There shouldn't be any easy games, not even the first rounds as teams will have to get every possible points to make it through. Let's just hope that it will provide some good entertaining soccer, and may the best team wins!
